  Khan Flame " Raquel" - this outstanding Cymbidium has proven  to be an excellent parent in such crosses  as Hypno Beauty, Flaming Vulcan

  and Mem. Joan Bryant.  It is also a magnificent cut flower as can be seen in the David Jones Fashion Show displays above right.

 Flaming Vulcan = Khan Flame x Yowie Rose. Below are some Flaming Vulcans using Khan Flame "Raquel" with Yowie Rose "Vulcan"  HCC / AOC

   Flaming Vulcan "Wardrum"  resulted from Yowie Rose "Cabernet" with Khan Flame " Raquel".

 The Flaming Vulcan cross has produced many outstanding early reds. Excellent results for colour, shape and size have been seen.

Mem. Joan Bryant (= Khan Flame " Raquel" x Sylvan Star "Tia") . Beautiful pinks such as     & 

"Raquel" was crossed with Elegant Valerie "Cher" to get large flowers on tall stems from small compact plants such as "Shout". This cross has been registered as Templestowe Dream.

Colin Gillespie received an AM for his flowering of  David Wain's Templestowe Dream "Lachlan". Templestowe Dream "Lachlan" AM/OSCOV.

In the 2009 Cymbidium Club of Australia Winter Show, Nat Ciccari won Champion Standard Show bench Cymbidium with Flaming Angela "Catamanka"  Flaming Angela came from Khan Flame "Raquel" x Lady Angela "Telly".
